Tummy sleeping...

Just a YAY post... I comfortably began sleeping on my tummy again one week out of surgery. Thank goodness, too, I'm a belly sleeper all the way.

I'm also happy to report that my incisions are very nearly healed with no hint of infection anywhere. They do itch sometimes, though. OMG do they itch!

Everything is going down without a problem. Pills are fine. Soup is fine. Popsicles are heavenly, as is spearmint tea. Interestingly enough, I loved beef broth the day before surgery and I hated it the day after. Weird.

I get to move to soft foods this week! Yay! Any suggestions?

Itching is great!!! That means that your incisions are healing well. Hang in there. You seem to be doing great!

I am doing great! I am one week out as of this morning and I am down 9 pounds. I am so excited starting on this new journey and so far, this has been SOOO much better an experience than my lapband was. You are doing great too! Keep up the good work!
