Hmmm... would I do it all over again?

When are you going? It may be when I am going back with my hubby.
It is so easy to make friends with the other patients there. It was like a big support group and extended family. I stay in contact with everyone that I shared my surgery experience with. I found it so comforting how quickly all the patients bonded. Trust me, no matter what you won't be alone. Someone will take you under their wing.

I went alone and I really don't think its completely necessary to bring someone. The staff and my roommates husband lifted my (heavy) bag for me but other than that... there was nothing I would have needed my husband for... (except for missing the heck out of him.

There was a bunch of great people there so it was a big social event. lol Make friends... you guys will have similiar interests, I am sure. ;)

My DH went with me,but I would have been fine alone. My needs were met and I was able to convey my needs with no trouble.
