If it's not normal, then I'll be abnormal right along with you. My surgery is less than a month away but it feels like it might as well be a year away. It just doesn't feel like it's right around the corner. Maybe part of me is still stuck in the mindset that it's never going to happen. I've been trying to have it done for 5 years now. Waiting and disappointment have become a habit.
