I leave on Thursday and I'm packing light but only want to take a carry on...
I have not taken a plane in at least 7 years and with all the new security measures, I don't want to spend my money on items and then have to toss them in the trash.
I don't know if I'm able to take specific items on the plane. For instance, am I able to take gas x strips, chapstick, what kind of make up do they not let you take with you?
Also, on the way back, are you able to bring your medication with you on the plane?
And one last one, if I'm taking my laptop and a carry one, would that be ok? or would I have to pay extra?
I appreciate all your assistance!
Liz

Ahh! I'm so excited! I'm leaving on Wednesday so I will see BOTH of you there!!!!! My younger sister is having it done!
But, in regards to the post, haha...they will let you take any kind of makeup on the plane, as long as it fits in the liquids bag they provide you with in the airports. All makeup has to be put in this bag, lipstick, chapstick, eyeliner, mascara, you name it. On my way back in December, I had my two pills in a little baggy in my pocket. No one could see them, since they were so small, so I just went through security with them in my pocket and no one noticed.
In Canada, you are allowed 1 carry on, so your laptop would have to fit inside of your carry on bag, I believe...not 100% on that one, so don't quote me.
