CA state disability

CA state disability is saying husband needs to turn in a medical certificate from Dr. Aceves in order to qualify for his disability payment for the time he was off.  We've contacted his office and received papers (like a diploma and other certifications), but no "medical certificate" that is required by the state.

Anybody know how to solve this problem?

Maybe contact them again and explain that you need ,like a doctors excuse,for the time he was in Mexico and recovering. Tell them it needs to be a letter of medical necessity,where the surgeon states that the surgery was medically necessary for your husband.

Ask that they write it in English,on the surgeons official letterhead. Tell the office people that he needs proof that he was having surgery and not having a vacation on the beach in Mexico!
