X-Post Dr Aceves in Mexicali

I have posted a long description of my pre-op, hospital and early post-op experiences on my blog if anyone is interested in more info about the VSG process with Dr Aceves. (I thought it was fantastic!)

Hi, I just read all about your trip, and procedure, I am happy ever thing went well for you!!!! I was just wondering how much did your Dr charge you for the sleeve?   I am looking into going to Mexico for the sleeve, and I heard a lot of good things about Dr Aceves! I am hopinghis price isnt out of the ballpark  for me!! enjoy your weight loss and being on the looser bench!!!!!!!                     

I paid 9500 for everything except airfare. He does run specials sometimes. Good luck with your research!

Hello again, it me Dotty!!!! thank you for getting back to me, the price the Dr is charging is to high for me, right now!!! was there someone else you were considering that was a better price than him! I have had a very hard time saving the money that I have right now, and I don't want to put this off another YEAR!!!!! thanks Dotty.  

The three doctors I considered in Mexico were Aceves, Alvarez, and Joya. I am not sure what the other two charge - but if you email (they have links on this website) I'm sure you can get the information.

For me it was important to be in a proper hospital, rather than a clinic, and I was grateful for the 3 nights in hospital after my surgery. Complications are very rare, but if they occur they can be very serious, so location and quality of aftercare was, for me, as important a consideration as the surgery itself.
