Anyone have an RNY with Dr. Almanza?

Has anyone on the board had an RNY with Dr. Amanza? I am seriously considering him but I would be having a revision from lapband to RNY and want a top notch surgeon with a lot of experience. I have read that a lot of people on the board have gone to Dr. Almanza for lapband or VSG - but not RNY.

Any comments/thought?

I Colleen, I just got back from Dr. Almanza for a lap band over RNY. Still recovering phase. Seemed like a really nice guy and the trip was awesome really. You can read my story on the blog. Why would you go for the RNY instead of the Sleeve?

I am going for the RNY instead of the sleeve as through my research a restrictive only surgery didn't work for me - hence why I am getting a revision. I will do better with both a restrictive and malabsorption proceedure.
