The night before

My girls is about the have surgery in April she has diabetes is there anything she should do different before she goes in like I know you can't eat right before surgery did anyone with diabetes have trouble with this if she take her shot and don't eat she get real shacking sick.

U might want to post this on the main board. U will get more responses. I have seen a few posts concerning this. I think they usually have the insulin the day before but not day of surgery.

which surgeon is she using? My surgeon asked for a list of my current meds about 2 weeks before surgery. he then told me what to stop and when and what I should take on the morning of surgery. Her surgeon will be able to advise her what to do about her insulin.
