LapBand surgery

I Live in Canada and am flying down to San Diego ,ca then going across to Tijuiana  and am having lapband put on with Dr Kurri. Anyone  one on  here been there for the surgery? and where is a good hotel bye the air port in Sandiego? I am going down in Feb 2010. Any info would be great.

Not sure if you did this already but you will get way more responses if you post this on both the VSG and lapband boards as many many folks on those boards have used your surgeon and can answer your questions.
