Cheap hotels near San Diego, with shuttle service

Ok!! I will travel to Sandiego next Thursday Headed for Dr Almanza on the 8th, The time has came up soooo quickly and I don't have a hotel for the night before. It doesn't have to be a really nice hotel being that I will only be there for a couple hours.
So any suggestions???? HELP!!!!!!

 We are staying at Days Inn Harbor View. I got my room booked on expedia for 67 bucks,,was cheapest I could find with airport shuttle.

  I have the same hotel booked for the night before surgery.  If all goes well with them and their shuttle, I plan on booking it for the night before we fly back to Florida, also.  Looking forward to hearing from you when you return!!

Do you have to get a hotel in san diego??? I thought you fly in and they pick you up from the airport?? Maybe Im wrong about that then.

Jenni08- Yes, sometime they will pick you up directly, it depends on what time your flight arrives. I wont get there until 10pm, so they pick you up in the morning. I think you have to be at the airport before 11am in order for them to take you over the same day.

I was just there last week and stayed at the Rodeway Inn, Do Not Stay There!!!!!!!! The walls were paper thin, the bed squeeked so loud. It was awful, on top of all of that a couple decided to party at 1 am. When I was in San Diego in March I stayed at Days Inn and it was great, wish I would have spent the extra $15 bucks and went back there. TSK TSK so much for being cheap!
