Checking in from PV Mexico

I arrived on Saturday, I had 2 days to enjoy the weather. If you get a chance, go to down town in puerto vallarta, because it is amazing. I loved it. Checked in at the hospital at 10:30 monday morning, planned on having the sleeve, and ended up with the RNY bypass instead.  the doctor suggested this because of my medical history. Finally went into surgery at 6pm. everything went well. Doctor Joya, and his staff were fantastic. Dr. Joya does a lot of american and canadian weight loss surgurys, from monday to thursday he did about 12 of them.   Back at the hotel on thursday afternoon. The beaches are amazing.  I'm feeling ok, and am heading back home on Sunday afternoon.  Check in later.

Do you mind if I ask what about your medical history made the doctor suggest RNY over the sleeve?

I had a hiatal hernia, severe acid reflux, diareah.  The sleeve can sometimes make it worse i guess and that is also what my Dr back in the states said so I thought that I should listen to them.

i went to dr joya and it was great!!! glad it went well!

I had Dr Joya do my RNY 2 years ago... He was  amazing and so was his staff.
 I am in Monterrey Mx right now just had a complete lower body lift with anchor cut...inner thigh lift... breast lift with implants...and upper arms done.   
     Dr Sauceda and his staff are wonderful down here!!   I have nothing but good to say about my experiences in Mexico.
  

Wow!  Are you having that that all done at the same time?  My sister is ready for all that can I ask How much it cost?  Thanks, Mary
