Have VSG scheduled with Dr Almanza on the 27th. Couldn't sleep - decided to check my fllght itinerary on Orbitz. Orbitz says, all cheery-like, "You have no trips planned. Would you like to plan one?" Holy sh*t! I called customer service, and it took her a good 15 minutes, but she did find my reservation. Whew!

I paid the rest of my surgery balance today. My passport has arrived. I've lost 21 pounds, which they say is adequate, and I still have 7 days of starvation to go, so I should lose more. I guess I'm actually doing this. Aaiiee! I'm freaking out!

HOLY SHEETS...IS CORRECT...!!!!
I would still be freakin' out as well...It's not like we don't have enough to
lose sleep over...lol..!!

I'm glad you got it all worked out..

Did you not have to print out a receipt of purchase for your flight for proof, or how did that all work for you with Orbitz...I'm using Expedia, and I had to print out a receipt, to present at the airline counter...
Also, how long did it take for you to get your passport...??
Sorry, for all the questions...!!!

Your day is almost here...woo-woooooo...!!!!

Blessings to you, my friend...
I'm so excited for you...

I received my passport in 12 days, which I paid nearly double to do. I thought all I had to do was renew my old passport, but it's been 6 years since it expired and I learned they will only renew within 5 years of expiration. So there I was at the post office, just 3 weeks until my travel date, and having to get a new passport. I paid $149.00, whereas it's usually $79.00.

Yeah...Orbitz did that to me before. I had scheduled a fancy schmancy week of fun in Miami and spent well over $2400 and they said no trip! I thought I would die. It's something wrong with their system. I dunno.

BUT Congrats on your surgery and looks like you are doing great already.

Best Wishes!

OMG!  Why in the world would you pay for surgery ahead of time?  What if you get there and you are unhappy with something and change your mind?

NEVER EVER pay for surgery ahead of time!!!
