IMPORTANT PASSPORT INFO

When we recently applied for passports for my WLS trip,we were only going to get the new "passport cards". The agent told us it was only for LAND travel which we knew,but he also said if I had to be medi-vac'ed out I would have trouble cause it is not authorized for air travel even in a personal emergency without going thru the consulate and all that.
Just wanted to give a heads up to all getting passports for medical travel. We chose the regular passports.
