so i guess it mexico..........where to start!
Just my suggestion, but don't use a middle-man service like Medical Tourism. They add on a hefty fee and really didn't do too much other than send a list of docs, locations, and rely some emails from the doctors' coordinators to me.
At the top of this page just under SEARCH is a link to Bariatric Surgeons. Give that a try. Once you look through that list, you may want to try getting in touch with their staff for more information. After that and you start narrowing your surgeon list down, post and ask specifically about the doctor. You will get some fabulous (and maybe some not!) feedback from other members. You may want to try posting on the VSG forum as well.
Good luck. I am just over 5 weeks out from my VSG (done in Mexico) and I feel fabulous. No problems whatsoever.

Here's the website for Dr.Ungson. I'm going to see him next month. I've heard lots of good things about him.

Try looking at Dr. Almanza. I used him for my surgery and I highly recommend him. He has a good price, at least the last I knew he did. He has the sleeve for $6,000. His website is www.mexicoweightlosssurgery.com You can start by contacting the surgeons you're interested in and find out if they offer financing too.Good luck!
He's also not a board certified surgeon. :o/
