Surgery Date Scheduled!!!

VSG w/ Dr. Zapata in Monterrey on June 4th @ 12:00 Noon. YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi I am having RNY with Dr . Zapata on 05/28 I will be there until 06/05 So maybe we will run into one another at the hotel . That would be great to meet you . I am so excited . I leave here on the 27th so I guess that you will be there on the 3rd . Hope to see you there . Teresa

I am assuming you will be at the 4 Point Sheraton on 06/03 when I arrive. Will you still be on clear liquids? If so we could have a "****tail" together Wednesday night (I'm thinking I should have some spare time after the pre-op testing is done). My husband is coming with me and he will probably be bored to tears.

Judy and I were cutting up on the phone yesterday and I asked her when I would be able to have a shot of Tequila. She said "that's a clear liquid, you can have it before surgery".....lol. With all the jitters I am having I will probably spend the whole clear liquid time doing shots of Tequila 

It is amazng how many people look at me like I have lost my mind when I tell them what I am doing. A friend of mine said "I heard they use dirty knives there." I looked at HER like she had lost her mind and told her to get out of the house once in a while and explore the world not just her own living room.  

Hi , Where did you get your funding through . I got mine from E-FINANCING ..Mindy there was great to deal with . The only problem that I am having is the finance company sent me a credit card and I am waiting to pay in full . Judy said that thay should have the new system working today . I hope so I would like to have everything taken care of . I already have my passport and plane tickets . I am so ready to go and get back home !!!

Hey, careful about that credit card.  You are already paying interest.  If you have to run it through as a credit card you will ALSO be charged international fees for using a credit card out of the country.  You can tack on about another 3% interest on top of the interest you are paying now.

The doctor will be charged 3% of the total amount for your credit card use.  Most of the doctors pass that 3% fee to the patient.  So you are looking at 3-6% more than what you bargained for.

I'd see if they can't just pay the doctor directly with your loan money, it will save you quite a bit.

I thought about financing but I really didn't want a long term bill so I took it out of my simple ira. I figure I am going to need more money in a year or so for cosmetic surgery so I'll wait until then to see if I need to take out a loan.
