Slipped Band

Ok i just found out my band has slipped ...And it has slipped far down ...So now i hav eto get this fixed ...Does anyone know what they will do?? i am not sure if they will remove my band totally or will they just place it back to were it goes ....What will they do...Has this happend to anyone ????

You might want to post this on the Revision board, others there have shared your pain.

Have they tried unfilling your band and putting you on liquids for a few weeks to see if it will go back to position on its own?

According to Dr. Husted (Revision surgeon specialist) he says that if you surgically reposition or replace a band you stand a 70% chance for another slip.  If you need surgery maybe consider a sleeve?
