Anyone from the Southern States going to Mexico for surgery

I live in north Florida and was just told my BCBS of FL plan has a specific exclusion for Barriatric surgery. I am so upset, and now I am thinking of having a surgery in Mexico. I really love your buddy system idea. I am scared and feel alone now, going out of country.

I went down 2 years ago for lapband w/ Dr.Huacuz in Tijuana. I'm going back in July for rhinoplasy and am considering Dr. Huacuz again.

Anyone know about plastic surgery down in Mexico?

Oh, I'd be careful. He just killed yet another person a couple of months ago. Wouldn't you rather go to a plastic surgeon than a WLS surgeon?

My sister is going May 15th to Dr Pompa. I had RNY last April by her, and my son had lapband by her last June. Oh by the way she is from GA.

I'm also from Ga and am considering Dr. Pompa. I was wonerding who your son sees for fills. Also any insight on Dr. Pompa would be greatly appreciated.
