I'm hoping to have surgery in May, if my Rheumatologist gives me the OK. Thinking of going to either Dr. Alvarez, Dr. Aceves, or Dr. Almanza.

I live in SC, near Myrtle Beach. I have not set any dates yet, and to be honest not sure which Dr. yet.

My pocketbook tells me it will probably be with Dr. Verboonen and Dr. Ponce De Leon at ObesityGoodbye.

Please do your research on these surgeons. I don't know the specifics, but it seems that Dr. Verboonen was entangled in some sort of drama not too long ago.
