Revision Surgeons in Mexico

I had RNY in 2001 and I am in need of a revision to ERNY or DS.

Has anyone had these types of revisions? If so, what doctors.

YOu might call Dr Horacio Guajardo's office.  He  has a lot of experience with revisions and has trained under some of the best in the world when it comes to revisions.  I'm not positive if he does the DS, but if not, he'll happily talk to you and refer you to someone who does.

I have not had a revision...yet.  But I have been researching a revision to a DS, and if I decide to do it (and find the money somewhere!) I am going with Dr. Ungson...very experienced and I have heard many great comments about him, the hospital, and staff.  I emailed him and he got back to me within a day.  Good Luck!

Your surgery would basically be doing the "switch" part of the surgery - correct? I'm curious!

Dr. Ungson is the ONLY surgeon in MX that I would even consider having the DS with - period. I don't know what his experience is with revisions - I suggest you go on the DS board and talk with some folks who have more knowledge about revisions.

Do you happen to have Dr. Ungson's contact information? I don't understand the phone # on his webiste.
