OK, I've read about pre WLS patients having last supper syndrome just before they start their pre op diets. I am a few weeks away from starting my pre op diet and ever since I my surgery appointment I have had last supper syndrome 24/7 it seems.
Has anyone else experienced this and how did you get through it? I know it's all in my head (head hunger), but it's out of control.

Pre-op diet wasn't easy. However, after a while, I got used to it. At some point in time after the surgery, you will probably be able to eat some of the foods you currently enjoy. You just won't be able to eat much of them at a time.
It has been my experience that head hunger after surgery is tricky. Sometimes head hunger is in your mind and you really do not need anything to eat. However, sometimes head hunger is your body's way of telling you that you need to eat something.
Best of luck,
