Has anyone had the Stomaphyx in Mexico?  If so, who did you use, what was your experience?

Is stomaphyx the same thing as VSG?

I may not be 100% correct on this but I believe stomaphyx is a procedure that essentially resizes the stoma on folks that are post surgery RNY folks. I am not sure of the specifics but I do know it is nothing like the VSG
Whatever you do is it truthful, necessary and kind?

Stomaphyx is an endoscopic proceedure through the mouth, where they place plastic (polyehyline...something) faseners to make folds in the stoma to reduce the size.  VSG is usually done laparoscopically where they cut off the greater curvature of the stomach.   From prior posts...I hear the stomphyx works for about 2 weeks then you're back to square one and regain the weight once able to eat solids.

I would reserach the stomaphyx first, from what I have read it does not work long term, not even short term.  Not very good reviews I am afraid
