How does that all work?  All I have is like a piece of paper with the doctors signature and a written in amount with pen.  does that actually work?  If so anyone could just make up a recipt.  What do they ask for when you claim it on your taxes?
Thanks

You can use your cancelled checks or cc receipts. It goes under medical with any and all prescriptions you have had filled.

Yes, you can claim all items related to your surgery, so don't forget to include travel expenses and any aftercare costs.
Although you probably won't need it, your coordinator or the doctors office should be able to give you a computerized receipt. But, cancelled checks work to.

It really helps at tax time.
