Questions of pain meds

Is it possible to buy pain meds over in Mexico pharmacies? I am just worried that the pain meds. My doctor says that he will only be giving me week worth of pain meds. I am having the VSG and worried this might not be long enough.

So I just got back from Mexico, and while I was there my grandma fell and broke a rib. She was sitting in the hospital room with me, and asked the doc for some pain meds, and he told her to go downstairs and they will give her pain killers. So I think they will give them to you. However, I don't think you will need them. After I left the hospital I did not take any pain pills, and I was just fine.
