anybody having surgery with Dr Aceves in Dec?

I am scheduled to have gastric sleeve with Dr. Aceves on December 10th?
Anybody scheduled around that time?
Can anybody offer any advice or share experiences with Dr. Aceves?

Also,  I'm worried about after care?  Can insurance company's turn you down bc you've had elective surgery in Mexico? 

My surgery is scheduled on Dec. 28Th with Dr. Aceves. Not sure about insurance companies turning you down, sorry

I went to Dr. Aceves in August; you can read my blog for specifics. couldn't have been better, basically. bring something to do: it gets boring.

for aftercare I am only having bloodwork done at 3 months, 6 months and yearly from then on. your PCP can do that. I don't see any reason for them to document you've had WLS - can you ask them not to? no reason your insurance company has to know.  my two cents.
