Plastic Surgery and the Lapband

For those of you who had surgery with Dr. Q can you tell me if they removed the fluid from your lap-band before surgery? Or did you get to keep your current fill?  I am wondering if I am supposed to get unfilled before my November 7th surgery.  I am getting lipo (inner/outer thighs, hips, and abdomen) and breast augmentation. 

Please advise any of your experiences at Cosmed please.  I'm very nervous about the lipo pain because I only planned to be off from work for a week.

I just had an LBL, arm lift and thigh lipo with Dr. Q on Oct 1. I have the band as well, he told me before surgery that he would empty the band. It's hard to tell if he did becuase I have pretty good restriction right now. Although I'm pretty sure he did actually empty it. If you have any questions please let me know.
