mgb in mexico

Is the mini gastric bypass done in the US the same as the one done in Mexico?  I have seen some pictures of the mgb fromMexican surgeon sites and they look the same as what Dr. Rutledge does, and I have seen some pictures that look slightly different from what Dr. Rutledge does.  Has anyone had the mgb in Mexico? Thanks
