Hello, I went to him for lapband surgery and the whole experience was wonderful.  The hospital was so clean and the staff was great.  He checked on me so many times post op I had to tell them I am okay you don’t have to be so vigilant.  I really loved the whole experience.  When you meet Dr. Aceves you can immediately tell that he really cares about his patients and their outcomes.  He is a very genuine man that tells you what you need to do to succeed.  I have been back to him since surgery (for fills) and each time I see him I like him more and more.  He is very personable and always willing to answer your questions.  He is a very knowledgeable surgeon in most of the complicated areas of bariatric surgery.  I can honestly say that I would still go to him even if I had to make the decision again.  If you want more info send me a message.  I hope this helps!!

I think that I am going to use him for my sleeve as well.   I've only heard good things.  My girl friend at work hairdresser went to him and was soo pleased with the results as well.   When are you thinking of scheduling  yours?  I have to figure out the money situation before I think about scheduling.

I'm thinking around August. Our family has a vacation planned in last part of July first part of August so I don't think I should have it done any sooner knowing that I will be on a special diet. That might be hard to do being new and traveling. Dee

I too am having the lap band done by Dr. A, by what I have known of him and his staff, they are great.  He has a yahoo group I believe its called Dr. A bandsters, please check with Nina, his patient coordinator she can give you further on this.  I have my surgery scheduled for May 12, I cant wait.  with it was yesterday - a - year ago.. haha... well since im really close to the border about 13miles north, I have knowledge of the Hospital also, it is the best that Mexicali has to offer and very clean.  I take my children there, when their really sick.. It works out better than taking them to their pediatrician and him prescribing tylenol.. (i could totally do that myself)  my children always get better when they see a dr at the Almater Hosp. I used him this past December.And I was so impressed!!! I got the lapband and I have been back to him for my two fills. Matter of fact I just got back yesterday from seeing them. His staff is great. Feel free to email me if you have questions. jennifer

 

I'm almost ready to schedule with him!  I just need to decide exactly when I'm going to do it!   I hope to be back with raving reports about him!

I going to him for a June 3rd sleeve, and the reason is, everyone speaks so highly of him I couldn't find anything negitive.
