how long did it take to get surgery date?

I called and was given a date that very day.  Though your date my depend on whether or not you have pre op tests in the US you may need done or if you have to follow a pre op diet for any length of time. I could have gone the following week but wanted a little more time to mentally prepare myself and to get things in order at work. I hope this helps
