ByPass Surgery in Mexico

Hi, Has anyone have bypass surgery done by Dr. Salvador Valencia. I only see two people posted that they had surgery with him I cannot seem to find many patients I am wondering how many bypass surgeries he has done? Thank you Diane   

Diane, Hi.  I am scheduled with Dr. Valencia for 3/24/2008.  I have heard many good things about him.  He has done over 800 surgeries.  I compared that with a local surgeon who told me that he has done only 36 surgeries with 1 fatality.  That is scary.  Dr. Valencia has also a good track record for no leaks following a bypass surgery.  You could always call UCLA where he teaches and ask for a reference, if you would like.  I may do that myself, also. I had my surgery in Mexico City at The Aerican British Cowdray Medical Center with Dr. Miguel Herrera.
He has done more than 1000 bypass surgeries and conversions.
