Hi~        I don't have insurance, thinking about Dr. Alvarez. Got some time because I need to save at least half. But wanting to know any ones experience with Dr. Alvarez and experience with financing ie: total amount financed and whats your payments. Anything else you think I should know would be great! Thanks!

RNY on 09/25/07 with
HI, I just had lap RNY on 09/25 by Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta. I got financing from his site at efinancing solutions. They financed 100%. The interest rate is pretty high. Like a credit card and payments around $500 a month. I know it's a lot, but how can I put a price on my health? Plus...I'm saving tons from not eating out or my daily coffee fixes. Hope that helps you. Good luck on on getting the financing you need and Congrats on your decision to taking control of your health and life. Susan =0)

Hi,  I had my lap band surgery with Dr. Kuri in Tijuana. I was financed through surgeryloans.com for $6045 (cost of surgery was $7500). I have 3 months no interest and then payments start around $270/month and decrease by about $10/month after that until payments get around $70/month. There is a $955 finance charge which brought my total financed to $7000. My interest rate is high 24% but it was my only option so I had to go with it. The monthly payments are pretty good considering the interest.
