if one decides to get their surgery done outside of the country, who performs all of their follow-ups e.g. fills, revisions, complications, etc.

Definitely NOT a silly question It's very important to establish that before making your decision to go out of the country for surgery. I had RNY so I spoke with my PCP before I went and made sure he would be on board doing my labs, etc. I was also very aware if I had any major complications that I would be in for some large medical bills. Luckily I am complication free and now also free from all medicines and co morbidities!! Hooray! With lapbanders it's very important to establish a Dr that will do fills (some won't) you could hit up the lapband board and your state board for some leads if you haven't found one already. Best of luck to you in your research and journey, ~Michelle

My surgeon provides a nutritionist that gives you online support (I still email with her 17 months post-op). For my bloodwork, etc, I used a clinic. Bridget
