I'm new. Anybody went SOTB?

Hey Cindy! I went SOTB and had a lap VSG with Dr. Ramos-Kelly in TJ. I absolutely LOVED him and all his staff. I've had NO complications or problems since my surgery. My DH and I went together and we were there for 7 days (3 days in hospital; 4 days in hotel). I have nothing but positive things to say about my SOTB experience. I didn't have insurance so being a self-pay was my only option. And when WLS is usually less than half the cost there than in the US, Mexico just seemed like the way to go. You can check out Dr. Kelly's profile on the surgeon's list as well as visit his website at www.obesitybusters.com. They have really good prices and include all your travel. You can choose to book your own flights & they'll deduct that from your total cost. We did that because we were able to get a better deal on airfare.
