newbie, with a date.

Hello, my name is Tameria,and I'm going to Mexico. I have been working toward this event since april,2006. Finally i'm here. I will be having surgery on 3-6-2007. Praise the Lord. Dr. Aceves will be my surgeon. I have heard nothing but great things about him and his team. Our flight will take 7hrs. 20min. I dread this most of all. Any info. or prayers would be greatly appreciated. Tameria

Congratulations!! I had my surgery in Mexico with Dr. Rumbaut on March 1st of 2006 so I am almost one year out. I have lost 130lbs and I am in a size 10 down from a size 26/28! I feel wonderful! If I had to do it all over again....I would. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that all goes well for you and you have much success! Again, congratulations!!

Woo Hoo!!! Good luck, Tameria! I'm 7 months out and have lost 92 pounds. You'll do great! Be sure to take it very easy after surgery... no matter how good you feel. Traci
