1-year later

Hi everyone long time no hear. My life has changed so much since this surgery and one year ago it all started. I have went from 315 to 195 and I feel terrific. I am now engaged and I have to thank God and Dr. Aguirre and all my friends on this website. You all will never know how much you have changed my life being such a support system for me throughout the years and for that I thank you all and wish all the new people best of luck on their journey. Ronda: You look wonderful! I am so proud of you. Congratulations on your engagement. I wish you the very best in life. I am almost 11 months out and I am down from 281 to 156. Who would have ever dreamed that we would be where we are today? Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure that I am not dreaming. I still think like an obese person. I still find myself wanting a table instead of a booth, going to the plus size clothes even though I am in a size 12 now, and order lots of food because I am hungry (because that is what I used to do) and only being able to eat a few spoons of it. It is a very hard adjustment to make mentally. Thank God for support groups! I will pray that you have continued success and that you and your beau (he is a cutey) have a wonderful life together! Hey Ronda! I know you probably thought I fell off the earth, but here I am! I just happened to stop in tonight to get some information for someone who is thinking of going to Mexico.............and I saw your post. You look fantastic! I am so happy for you! I am coming up on my 2 year anniversary. Can you believe it? I wish I knew how to load pics.........I would post them. I reached goal and now wear a size 4 - 6, depending on the style and who makes them! I feel great! Well, enough about me. This is all about you...............................Keep up the good work!
