It has been a while..

Hey Everyone,, Well it has been quite a while since I have posted, I had RNY by Dr Joya on 5/16/06 and I could not be happier! I started at 349 pounds, and I am not down 104 pounds, that is almost a whole person. Anyone thinking of going to Mexico for their surgery all I can say is DO IT, DO IT FOR YOU, YOUR HEALTH, YOUR FAMILY, MOST OFF YOUR HAPPINESS! I could not have done it with out the support group, my friends and my family! Everyone take care and I will try to post again soon! Christina

Hi Christina! Congrats on your weightloss. My husband and I both had RNY with Dr Rumbault on 1-18-06 and we have lost 391 pounds together!! It's amazing! If I had insurance, I would still choose to go South Of The Border for our surgery, we have accomplished so much! Bridget

I totally agree with you. I had mine done by dr Joya last December and it was the best decision I have ever made. I am now down 140lbs and am very healthy. I maintain at 130-135lbs. Leanne
