How Much???

Doesn't look like I will get approved thru my insurance UHC, so I'm looking at going down to Mexico. Hoping to have LAP RNY because I don't think the LAP Band will work for me as I am such a sweet eater and a quantity eater. Any help on what that will cost me in Mexico??? TIA ALLI

The hospital staff was great (better than I've ever had in the States). I had the lap RNY with Dr. Rumbaut in Monterrey, Mexico. It cost me $14,400 not including airfare and hotel, but all the rest. It was great, and the surgeon was excellent. Outstanding care. For details take a look at my profile. -Pam

I just got back from geting surgery done in mexico. My dr was Joya. He is less money than dr rambrat and is an amazing doctor. Including airfair and hotel its 12500. I too didn't do the band cause of my sweet tooth and did the rny bypass. Hope this helps you out.

Hi Alli, I had a VSG with Dr. Joya on 8/28. It was a great experience. The all-inclusive cost was $11,000 including airfare, all hospital/dr fees and hotel. The Band is less expensive. Check out his site: drjoya.com it's all there. Good luck!

Dr Rumbaut's prices have gone up a bit since Pam had her surgery. I paid $14,600. It was the best money ever spent. I'm 8 months post op and have lost 146 pounds and I'm still losing. My husband had the same surgery (lap RNY) the same day with Dr Rumbaut also. He's lost 224 pounds in 8 months and still losing also.
