Anyone out there have surgery in Bogota?

I am having surgery on Sept. 14th in Bogota with Affordable Bariatrics. Dr. Valencia will be the chief doctor. Anyone out there been there recently have advise for me. I'm a bit scared about traveling alone.

I had my surgery in Bogota with Dr. Mikler (www.byebyeobesity.com), everything was very well, Bogota is a beautiful City, the facilities are the same as USA, the people are very warmth. I wish you the best of luck Amanda

Thanks Amanda. I am so nervous I can harldly sleep or eat. But, it's a good nervous not a bad one.

Bogota is my plan B. I am jumping through the insurance hoops now but if they choose not to cover my surgery, I will be heading to Bogota. It's been awhile since your post. Are you home? Did everything go ok? I want to know everything! Alice
