Taxi cost

Does anyone know how much it costs to take a taxi from the SanDiego airport to Dr. Ortiz's office? And is that safe to do for a single woman?

Jennifer, I think your best bet would be to take a taxi from the airport to the Old Town trolley station and take the trolley to the border (San Ysidro stop). At the border catch a bus that will take you into TJ for $1 and cabs are available at the TJ bus depot. Don't pay more than $5. A lot of US cabs won't drive into TJ (insurance issues). If you want to go that route I suggest calling a few and arranging prior not just trying getting one outside the airport. I've always felt pretty safe in TJ. ~Michelle
