I've never heard of Hosea Rodriguez. I was banded by Arturo Rodriguez in Monterrey Although Rodriguez is a fairly common name in Mexico, kind of like "Smith" in the United States.

I think you mean Jose Rodriguez - pronounced the same (J's are pronounced with an H sound in Spanish).
