Did you do anything strange before surgery?

I am going to get a manicure today (my first) and get my hair done. Last week, I got a pedicure. I'm trying to get in a few "just for me" things before I go next week. God... next week!!! I never thought I'd be saying that! Anyway, am I being selfish? Did anybody do anything zany or new before surgery??? Traci

I didn't do anything strange but I did eat a lot! I think I had maybe 6 "last meals". Looking back, that was silly because I can still enjoy all the foods I loved before surgery. Moderation is the key. Bridget

* * Oh I figured everything for awhile is "All about me!!" So I had my hair done, Nails done, We went out to eat several times the week before I had to start my preop diet... I pigged out big time... dessert and everything!!! I had my surgery March13, 2006 and things are still "All about me" What money I was spending on food prior to WLS I am now spending on My hair and Nails, and CLOTHES I LOVE SHOPPING!!! IMO GO FOR IT ya only live ONCE!!! and this surgery is almost like a second chance at a new life!!!!
