Today is my one year anniversary! WHOOHOO!:-)

I'm feeling over the moon today! It was exactly one year ago today that I had lap RNY with Dr. Rumbaut! So much has changed! My diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol are gone! I am off of 5 medications and only take a vitamin now! I am very close to goal, and honestly if I do not get to goal, I do not care, I am the healthiest and smallest I have ever been in my life! I went from a tight size 24 to 8, from 2x scrubs to smalls! Life is so much better now! It's amazing how much better people treat you when you "fit in" ! My favorite part is how men hold the door for me wherever I go now. Before, they'd let it slam in my face, now they will wait and hold the door! My biggest regret? That I never had the nerve to go through with surgery 9 years ago when I first thought of it! Bonnie lap rny 6/3/05 264/163
