Help

I am about 1 1/2 years out and I cannot stop drinking it scares me to death that I am going to lose my family because of this problem could anyone please help me find a way to deal with my problem

I hear ya. I'm 3 years out and dealing with the same struggles. Haven't found the answer myself yet, other than this addiction forum has a lot of great supportive people on it. I wish you luck, my friend.

Hi Kevin, Glad you posted. This is a good site. In a short time I have found some kindred spirits. If you read earlier posts you know I am an addict and in recovery. I am in a 12 step program and very happy and 19 months clean. I am a work in progress. I am sure there are many ways to get sober. For me the 12 steps work not just on my drinking and medicine abuse but on all the areas that are affected by my addiction. feel free to email me anytime. laurie
