Elaine, how was the meeting?

So what did you think? Some are good, some really are sucky boring. If you didn't like it, keep shopping around. I moved to Austin from Santa Cruz. Ca a few months ago and have been AA shopping. I still have not found one which suits me to a T. Miss my old group. I think this was one minor contributor to my relapse...no longer feeling connected. Anyway, if you're game, post here as another type of meeting/support. I'm going to. I HAVE to. My relapse scared the s--out of me. Thought I was immune at 10 yrs., but naaaah! We are never immune from the effects of the first drink. Once a pickle, you can never be a cucumber again! I am happy to be sober now and, God or who/whatever willing, will be sober all of today.
