P.S. (just remembered) Trish, per my biriatric surgeon's advice to me, when taking ibprofen, make sure to take it with Plenty of water so it does not stay in you pouch but rather moves on to the rest of your digestive system, where it needs to be absorbed. Also, rather than swallow the tablet whole (the prescription IBprof. sometimes comes in giant white tablets), cut it in half and just swallow 2 halves with water (makes the absorbtion more effective for those of us with post-op intestines:)

as with many other meds, don't take with grapefruit or orange juice.

again, hope you feel better soon and, as you know, i'm a lawyer not a doctor so obviously this it not to be taken as real med. advice
