Sponsor Hunt

Last night at IOP, it was suggested that I mix up my meetings a bit,
and not just go to the same meeting I had always gone to. My usual
meeting is from Monday to Saturday at 6:00 a.m. It was also suggested
that I attend some women's meetings to find a sponsor. So, tonight, I
am heading to a new meeting I had never been to, in the hopes of
meeting some women with quality sobriety and time. I intend to get
phone numbers and make phone calls and get to know some women and
hopefully find a sponsor by my birthday in two weeks.

That's awesome! I wholeheartedly believe in mixing it up. I get tired of going to the same meetings all the time. You are learning to work the program, that is great. I wish you the best in finding the sponsor that is just right for you.
