Trying a grateful post myself...

I am tired of feeling sorry for myself.  I need to get myself feeling better!

I am grateful:

For my wonderful family...especially my beautiful and miraculous daughter.
that I came through my surgery safely.
that I have good insurance coverage and could have this when so many who want it can't.
that I have a nice home, a good car, a good, steady job, and enough to meet our needs.
that my grandmother moved back to town so she's not so far away when I need to not be alone.
that my husband is willing and able to help me and take care of our baby girl.
that I still get one more week at the beach before school starts.
that I switched surgeons and definitely ended up with the better choice.
that I can have pureed foods on Monday.
that the drain comes out on Wednesday.
that i will soon begin losing weight and feeling/looking better.
that I have a great mom who can be my friend even when she doesn't agree with my decisions.

Excellent post.  Great reminder that I need to do a gratitude list as well.

I am grateful for

the three weeks my daughter and granddaughter have been in town.

my sobriety

my therapist

my job at the hospital

my sister and sister-in-law, and nephew and niece

my sons, son-in-law and daughter-in-law

my surgery, almost two years ago now

my relationship with God

my AA meetings, which I don't get to often enough this week

my medications, which keep me stable

yarn and craft stores

Law and Order reruns

the Phillies are having a good season so far

my ability to tell a guy to hit the road when he wouldn't respect my values on a first date

Have a great weekend.

Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
