Grateful Post..

Good Monday Morning..  Today I am grateful..  For waking up this morning.. For being able to fly a kite at the lake..  For the moon beams over rippling water,, That I was able to watch the ducks and enjoy a semi-quiet time.. For relationships.. Although they are not perfect they may be what you needed at that time..  For the small things in life if we don't appreciate the small things in life what makes us think he will bring us bigger things in life..  For being alcohol-free..

Awweee Ramon I love all your gratefuls.. and wanna share in them at least being grateful for the small things in my life..

I'm grateful for getting to see Ironman yesterday with a friend.. while I try to decide if it's a *relationship* I want to continue..  I dwell on what YOU said.. it might (probably is) just what I need right now..  cuz God doesn't let just things to happen with no rhyme or reason. I'm grateful for it being pretty out.. it's crisp and cool and sunny.  Perfect weather.. I'm grateful that my mom and I got to talk Friday nite.. I called her so she would not worry that I might be out partying or drinking.  We got to talk about her as a child growing up with alcoholic brothers.  They were much older than her (12 in the family) and a couple of them would come home loud and screaming and have a gun waving it around.  It would scare her.. she's never told me that story before.  I knew I had uncles that died from alcoholism.. but not how it affected her.  She has never really drank for fear of the disease and  the drama and hard life it brings... God I love my mom I'm grateful for God in my life.. I don't attend church.. but I talk to him quite often during the day and I can see Him and myself working side by side now getting my life together.  And I so appreciate and am grateful for the times that he carried me..    hugsss with love

Keep up the soberiety.. I promise you it is worth it.. I will be hitting year 14 on New's Years Day and it has served me well..  Good luck with the "friendship"   Much love and thanks for the hugs..
