Need HELP fast - How to tell Tweens about my problem

Looking to make a drastic change by taking a 'vacation' with some counselors etc. [Forgive the crypticness on the message but someone at work has been snooping.] Have a tweenager and a younger non-tween. Trying to figure out the best way to let them know about my vacation plans.  The same message will not work for both, the older, who can't wait to be a 'teen" is much more mature than the other. I'm here to listen.

sorry I have no experience here.. as I have no kids.  But.. I hope you get from vacation all rested and feeling like new

Thank you for the kind thoughts... Truthfully I don't really expect to come back much rested from vacation.  I hear they have a stair case that they keep running you up and down until finally it seems like you know each of those twelve steps as well as the back of your hand.

Well, my "baby" is 25, but I was honest with her when I started my drying out. She was 3 at the time. She was also a more mature child. Be honest with the older one, and for the younger, tell them it's something your body gets sick from when you have it. Like being allergic in a way. Depending on their age, you can morph your explanation to what they can handle.  Good luck, Marie

We have a saying in my vacation land--The elevator is broken, you should start taking the steps, the 12 steps. Heh.

I emailed you and I hope anything I said helps--I'm going to email you again because I didn't see this post until after I emailed the 1st time.

much love and respect-
