Been sick and laying low
Last week I developed a whopping case of bronchitis. I have been feeling lousy and my food has been just horrible because of some emotional issues. I have not been doing my self-soothing, and have been bingeing on sugar and dumping like crazy. I also started cutting last night. I am a mess.
The issue is I am applying for jobs in Michigan in the hopes of moving there soon so I can live closer to my daughter and granddaughter. That is good. The problem is I have abandonment issues with my therapist, and would have to give up therapy with him if I move. Easier said than done. I have a huge "Daddy complex" with him, especially since my father died 31 years ago.
I have to get back to bed.

sometimes to *better* things and experiences.. I love the "one door closes another opens" saying. Somebody in my home group modified it to say:
"When one door closes, another door opens - but it's HELL in the hallway!" :-)
