Hanging in there in spite of myself

I am still not going to meetings, for no good reason except busyness.  I worked all weekend, long hours, and working seven straight days exhausted me.  Today I slept in, and then had back to back appointments all day long.  I fell asleep on the couch tonight.  One of my appointments was to get my B12 shot, so I am hoping to have more energy. My food sucks.  I am nibbling like I used to pre-op.  Carbs are my choice.  It is so depressing.   Well, I just got up from a nap and it is almost time to go back to bed. Hugs, Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Hang in there Patricia, busyness sometimes controls our lives. I know when we are working a lot I don't get to many meetings. I was off today and was to occupied to make a morning or noon meeting. Today was my sponsors A.A. birthday(39 years) so my wife and I drove 150 miles to be at the meeting when he got his chip. It was a Blessing to get to go to my old home group on hi special day. Good Luck and GOD BLESS..

Wow!! 39 years is amazing!! Good for him!! I'm in my 22nd year now and am still learning so much about how I let this addiction manipulate my thinking. Hell, it's nice to still be learning and waking up on the right side of the dirt!!
